I have often found myself referring to the healing modalities and techniques that I have gathered thus far as "tools in my etheric toolbox". This theme has recurred time and again both in the classes I teach and those I study. According to Webster's, a tool is (1) an instrument (as a hammer) used or worked by hand: implement, (2) something (as an instrument or apparatus) used in performing an operation or necessary in the practice of a vocation or profession, (3) one that is used or manipulated by another. Tools, we have lots of them. As healers, some of our tools are tangible; massage tables, essential oils and such. Many of them are not. Our skills are tools, as are our psychic gifts, our intuition, our Spirit Guides, and our ability to utilize energetic techniques to release disease.

When healing energy is freely offered, oftentimes animals in need, both domesticated and wild, willingly approach for healing. Whenever I travel, I try to always schedule time outdoors in the local National and State Parks. I always send out a prayer to the animal kingdom...

Our animals say a lot about us and they, like children, are happy to tattle! Let’s say you have a horse that is pushy and disrespectful, what does that say about you? Are you a pushy person? If not, then are you a pushover? Hmmm… How about that pony that will not stay in the paddock? Having some boundary issues, are you? Is it hard for you to draw the line
